The 18th annual meeting of SAOG/GSSI, taking place traditionally at the
Université de Fribourg, will cover both invited and contributed
presentations in the area of surface and interface characterization and modification. The organizers hope to attract interest from academic and other research institutions, as well as from industry. In parallel to the scientific presentations an industrial exhibition will be organized.
The topic of the 18th annual one-day meeting will be :
"Hard coatings - recent developments of various processes and applications"
